Quality and Value in each twin we place
Straight-Wire® brackets are really interchangeable, malocclusion-specific appliances that are designed to empower orthodontists to achieve their clinical goals as efficiently and effectively as possible. It is the only system based on the principles first espoused by Dr. Andrews in his ground-breaking article, “The Six Keys to Normal (Optimal) Occlusion.” There is only one Straight-Wire, the Straight-Wire System available exclusively from Ormco.

Made of polycrystalline-alumina featuring the latest advancements in ceramic bracket technology for aesthetics and performance.
The Mini Diamond was developed in response to a patient need for a more aesthetic bracket by miniaturizing the bracket with no compromise in function.
Metal Mini-Twin brackets afford all the advantages of large twin brackets but their rhomboid design, 30 per cent smaller than a standard twin, makes them more comfortable and more aesthetic.
All Straight Arch Brackets are founded on the original principles devised by Dr Andrews. This means that any A+ Straight-Wire appliance is manufactured according to three key principles: compound bracket contours, torque-in-base and level slot line-up.
Orthos is the result of computerised anatomic analysis of hundreds of orthodontic cases and is the first computer-engineered, coordinated system of brackets and wires.
Titanium Orthos combines the most precise system of brackets and wires with the well-known benefits of titanium to offer the finest straight-arch twin appliance on the market.
Damon System brackets use a passive slide mechanism to maintain archwires within the bracket while allowing them to move freely. This reduces friction, so that teeth can move faster and more comfortably. Traditional brackets use elastic ties or metal clips that bind the archwires, holding them tight. Such ties can act like the handbrake in a car, causing friction and pressure, which may slow down the treatment and make it more uncomfortable.
The centre of the slot and the centre of the base are always on the same plane for consistent and easy bracket placement and alignment.
The innovative, fully-programmed Straight-Wire appliances guarantee that the slot of the bracket will always be parallel to the occlusal plane of the arch, avoiding the need for awkward wire bending. Genuine Straight-Wire orthodontic appliances are fully programmed so that each tooth’s bracket slot lines up horizontally with all others to eliminate the need for time-consuming wire bends.
Orthos is the first computer-engineered, coordinated system of brackets and wires. Precision bracket geometries and a coordinated arch form were designed to eliminate the common challenges of everyday treatment, reducing the need for compensating wire bends and delivering quality results from crown to root tip.
The Mini Diamond was developed in response to a patient need for a more aesthetic bracket. The Mini Diamond reflects years of research and development. The goal was to improve aesthetics by miniaturizing the bracket with no compromise in function.
Mini Diamond offers the same benefits in regard to accurate bracket placement as more traditional devices plus: improved aesthetics and hygiene with a 30% reduction in overall bracket size; improved patient comfort with enhanced facial contours; improved utility with refined Hemi Hooks™ and a permanent ID marking system.
Straight-wire® appliances are really interchangeable, malocclusion-specific appliances that are designed to empower orthodontists to achieve their clinical goals as efficiently and effectively as possible. The following are some of the main characteristics of our product lines.
Mini-Twin appliances feature meshed bases with Ultra-Lock high-retention pads on both upper and lower bicuspids, providing increased bonding surface and minimizing bond failure.
Combines the most precise bracket and wire system with the proven benefits of titanium for the finest straightwire twin appliance on the market. Titanium has unique energy storage properties and reduces bond failures by 85%. Fewer detailing appointments are needed, and tooth-shaped pads achieve optimal placement.
All Synthesis brackets have Optimesh XRT. This is a treated 100-gauge mesh with additional undercuts and is proven to increase bond strengths up to 35%.
Straight-WireSynthesis merges the renowned design characteristics of the original Straight-Wire appliance with innovative technologies in order to offer optimal functionality as well as great aesthetics. In Straight Wire Systnesis, tradition and advanced technology go hand in hand.
